Tbh I feel like the siblings thing that the MC sister's was talking with the ML has something to do with the ML way of affection. I may get this wrong but the way he was about to say something and was cut off seems like a suspicious clues. Maybe it was likely his sibling is long gone and he wanted to find a person to replace the sibling place by going out with people who have no one to depend on. He decided to be someone who that people can depend on by helping with their living expenses and money or something they wanted.
Another theory he maybe really like that type of people and met the MC who seems very different with other people he once known so he's being kind to the MC. OR maybe he just really like the MC that's why he spoil him? Yeah with that cheeky smile it gave off a tingling sensation in me to be cautious of him LMFAO.
