this last chapter made me feel really conflicted, everything was so fast and raw, hiiragi panicked and shizu idk I can’t understand neither him or his thoughts, i don’t get if he was this raw just to scare hiiragi away or just because that’s how he really is. I just hope they will talk cause hiiragi put his whole heart in this and deserves a proper answer and to be treated fairly
Yeah. There are many things about shizu we don't know and we only got one chapter from his pov. He is not predictable at all. We've got so many chapters from hiiragi's pov and based on the realisation he had, he did so well to confront shizu about his feelings and I'm so proud of him. I'm thirsty for shizu pov
I think the author did that on purpose because the whole metaphor being used to describe Shizu and Hiiragi’s relationship is the “desert and oasis” theme. Like a human that physically needs water to survive, Shizu is that person who has been lost in a desert for a long time and craves for that drop of water to live, which is Hiiragi. So the sex scene was probably meant to be very raw like a sudden outburst of emotion from Shizu’s side because he has been repressing himself for years which was why Hiiragi was so scared when he started laughing with his teeth open wide. I think scared in this case was more like surprised and creeped out (not in a disgusted way) because he’s never seen Shizu make that face ever since they were young. So like a “storm” that covers the “sun”, Shizu swept Hiiragi away in this scene but Hiiragi was not afraid of him and in fact accepted him in. They’ll probably talk afterwards anyway lol.
