I don't understand people loving their relationship when it is clearly NOT a healthy one. There is no love there. There is no caring. They both have mental problems. I'm interested, because I am a psychology student. I don't consider this to be yaoi, there are only rape scenes between males. I guess Boom agrees and wants it too, now. But it is all disfunctional. I hate fan arts with them being happy and in love. Please, stop. It is a serious manga, with gore theme, psychologicaly drastic, but don't see any positive where there isn't any. "Sangwoo is good he doesn't want to be like his father". But he totally is. It hurts me reading this ongoing relation and I just want it to end. It's not healthy - I read it in that context. I don't love their relationship but I love reading about it and seeing how it goes. I don't think they're happy, but fan fiction showing they are don't necessarily assume that they can be like that with the current type of relationship they're in or will ever be in for that matter. Maybe the artists just want to see them happy, maybe in a parallel universe, maybe in another turn of events where they didn't get fucked up because of all the abuse they experienced.

Technically there has been no gay sex in this series. One was a sex toy & Yoonbum seemed disappointed that it wasn't the real thing, latter Sangwoo tried to seduce him in the bath & did not rape him after being rejected...He did strangle him though. I actually read other shounen ai series right now, it still a love between man only they not admit it and never have sex. mostly partners at somethimg XD well shounen ai can be different from mange to mange so I can't say all of them build like this. but many does build like this.

I don't think fan art is a big deal. Just because people draw them as happy and in an actual HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP, it doesn't mean they support the shitty relationship they have in the actual storyline.

No, you're not boring. It's kinda like how in every anime/TV show/movie, if there's a female and male lead, it's expected that there's romance. Like they can't just be friends/partners/whatever that's not lovers.

So, the past is not always as happy as we wished it was. It doesn't always end as we wanted it to. Reading such stories breaks my heart, but at the same time that's why I love them so much.
