I'll say it again and again - I'm not sure what people were expecting in here. The story is supposed to be wicked. The main character has some mental issues - since he was a teenager, we learnt about it. No one is saying what's happening is a good thing. But again, it's not real life, it's fiction. I too would like to see a nice, loving relationship. And I said that before - remember killing stalking? Or other mangas like that? We all want the 'character development' but maybe that's not the purpose of the story? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Fiction sometimes is supposed to touch sensitive topics. It's a made up story that includes that type of plot. It's not realistic and that's the point of fiction isn't it? You can easily find a realistic possible love story in this genre. This one on the other hand gives you a different experience and that's why I love foction. It's imagination where you set your own rules.
Also, in one Q&A an author replied to a question of if they'll ever just be together and love each other. The author answered 'in their own way'. And that's how I see it. Some relationships are toxic. A lot of people also need to realise that it's fiction. No one preaches those behaviours. Real world is one thing, stories are other. You can't compare it.

How is it justification? Not asking in a malicious way but they clearly stated this is a work of fiction, not all relationships on any spectrum of sexuality end up lovey dovey and 'normal'.

A lot of people are upset about the story, but I think after reading so many different mangas I don't get as easily affected. Sometimes, but not always, I like toxic relationships tho I don't romanticise rape or find it acceptable. It's a fictional story that has a lot of drama. Now I want him to learn about hat actually happend!
