I just realized but technically everything yuri did could be considered as playing the game. Yuri technically doesn’t owe anything to sanghee, as they’re just strangers to each other. The whole point of the show is “couple breaker” aka to put the relationship to the test and basically do problematic things for the drama and so the show is entertaining for viewers. Remember that they get tons of points for physical contact with OTHER people. In a way, yuri is doing similar things to taerin. Except we all know taerin is doing things for revenge. Yuri may be doing it for the money/fame. Both yuri and taerin have done physical contact with other men to win points and have “pretended” to flirt with the dudes.

Sanghee should really only be mad at her supposed fiancé. The fiancé is in the wrong because he lies to her and actually is cheating, and not doing it for the points.

I'm saying at first she was playing the game but in mid chapters she started to really like him just like he likes her. They both started to pursue each other more.

Yeah I don’t agree with that lol. There was not enough to prove yuri liked him. Even if she had a crush on him, it was very obvious that she didn’t like him as much and only out of curiosity. I think you take things too seriously. If you didn’t see taerin’s POV, you probably would’ve thought she was still in love with the cheater ex bf lmao. Both yuri and taerin have a similar playful personality.

There is no “both equally responsible.” Yuri owes sanghee nothing. I feel bad for sanghee too, but yuri is just a stranger to her. They are not friends. If they all weren’t on a show, then yuri doing all that would be bad for real. But because the point of the show is to test couples and literally be affectionate and touch other ppl, yuri is playing the game. If we’re being real, no SANE couple would join that show. Sanghee chose to STAY on the show despite disliking what the show requires them to do. Sanghee has some responsibility for even staying with him and going back to the show even after she got advice from taerin. If you even think about it for a second, for all we know- yuri could’ve saved sanghee from staying in a marriage with a guy who was bound to cheat.

Anyways like you said, the game is a choice and you choose who you target. You can’t be mad at them choosing to play the damn game lmao. If they weren’t gonna play, then why are they on the show in the first place? If they’re not gonna play, then they should leave the show.

Anyways I still don’t think you understand yuri’s character at all. Her own bf (the red head) knows exactly how she is. Her and her bf are similar in that they’re playful and flirty. They don’t take anything seriously.

It's about playing the game but self respect is definitely still important.
Even at some points Yuri boyfriend was shocked on how eager she was. Especially when she kept targeting glasses boy when she had a chance for a challenge.
