in a way this manha helps to represent why is it so hard for people who are in an abusive / toxic relationship to end things and part ways, because of how much we cling to the positive parts it gave us and how much we blame ourselves when things go wrong, and ultimately we are holding onto what that relationship once was and can´t be anymore.
I didn’t understand a shit
I mean i understand white hair devil is having a war with The Devil itself, and he got injured. He went to the human world and chose MC as a door bc he was a strong one that’s doesn’t die even if he continuously uses it like a regular human would. I know they need this new doctor to heal that would white haircut devil got and that his server is a weird ass bitch.
That sums up my understanding
I tend to avoid this stories because of how fucked up they are, but I couldn’t with this one. It’s really well written and you can see the progress of how their mental state changed through time. The thing about this is that it’s not a love story at all, it’s the story of a co-dependent relationship that started out of love, and became abusive and toxic until they became two completely differently people from who they originally were. In high school, it was Dohyun, who pushed Seunho to his limits to prove that “he belonged” to him, who broke that relationship. He pressured him into doing things Seunho didn’t like for Dohyun’s sake, like a test. Perhaps it would have ended there, but that helped to create a dependent Seunho who blamed himself for the breakup, idealized Dohyun and made him a pilar in his life. They both created a path for their insecurities in this stage of their lives and started the circle of hatred and resentment. What Seunho did later doesn’t have a justification, but you can track its origins. The moment Dohyun decided to manipulate Seunho, it wasn’t love anymore. It was depending on your partner for your happiness, It was a power relationship and toxic.
And strange enough way, because of how deep that root of dependence is, I don’t want them to end their relationship as much as I don’t want them to be together. I have no idea how to call this feeling of mine así reader, of not wanting to end it. If they leave each other, I don’t feel they will be happy, if they stay together, they also won’t be happy. There is no healthy way to end this.
And for a manhwa to create this sensation for me, that must mean it’s really well written and they did a great job in characterizing them. Was a great read
How does this author manages to crack me up each fucking time
