Honestly, based on how the webtoon was in the beginning, I think the author didn't imagine this would be a super big series. It was probably meant for a short run but the response was so big that it got extended. By then, it was too late to change the names.

So this an example of someone that used too much symbolism and never actually developed the story in a way that is understandable... at the beginning I feel it was just the right amount of symbolism and foreshadowing but then author literally only used symbolism so the readers got lost. I used to enjoy this story a lot from how different it was but somehow at some point I just found everything confusing and yet again another disappointment
