Ginger wanted to see what Rum thought of him, so Rum understood right away that Ginger likes him ? Or did he already know ?

Guys, you should try and relate to Ginger's feelings. He has loved Rum for so long but they're childhood friends. And they are guys, for that matter. His fear of losing Rum triumphs over his love for Rum which led him to make that stupid bargain/trade. I empathize with both sides of the equation - Rum AND Ginger. I just hope that Rum forgives Ginger fast and this doesn't become too dramatic. It's been dragged out for long enough now.

Quick Question:
Did Ginger see anything inside Rum's thoughts that might insinuate Rum likes him too? I don't remember seeing/reading anything explicit about Rum liking Ginger back.
