Pretty surprised to see the comments on Lover Boy because to me it's still a great story. Yes the plot is heavy with miscommunication, ridiculously frustrating characters and the toxicity of how Jaeha is a literal walking, breathing red light during the story but has anyone wondered whether it's actually on purpose? If it hasn't hit, it is actually pretty intentional because it's a huge conflict of the story? I don't think at any point in the story that toxicity was portrayed positively: That Jaeha is clearly emotionally unavailable and that their relationship is very one-sided.

I've read enough BLs where the red flags are treated as the 'oh well that happened but not like it was that bad' but this is the one that hasn't done that. The relationship is meant to be intentionally unhealthy at the start so please hold on because the development of the characters is really nice. I'm so glad that it isn't rushed just for the sake of completing the story like so many other BLs.

Personally, a huge hook for me is conflict and I don't really see the point (in these type of stories at least )if a extremely internally conflicted character could just say whatever was on their mind. Jaeha being irrational, self critical and selfish due to his experiences is a great characterization of some very human aspects, that he isn't the typical MC that can power through their sufferings and stick closely to their moral compass. He is anything but that, someone who succumbs and prioritises himself more than anything. Human.

The eventual portrayal of his growth out from the safety that his rigid wiring of irrationality and selfishness gave him, is one form of his character development that I enjoy re-reading over and over. Imo Jaeha is a well written character and it rubs me the wrong way that a lot of people will drop it without giving him a chance.

Yes this had to be this lengthy and to anyone who gave this story and my obnoxious essay a chance, happy reading and sit tight because it's one hell of a emotional rollercoaster :)

I had to open back my account (I made this one like 2 years ago, but never use it coz i'm a lazy one), so I can say how tired I am with this whole situation. Guys, the author spoke, they don't wanna the uploads anymore, so we gotta respect them, because at the end of the day it's their hardwork and probably their way of income, BUUUUUT I'm hella tired of people on social media (specially on T*kT*k) posting the name of this site. I've been here for a very long time (talking about hella lots and lots of years) and thanks to that I've met a lot of good artwork that fortunally I've been able to support legally.
As an artist myself I know how hard is the earning of money, but as a consumer as well I know the struggle of not having the economy sometimes to buy it. Thanks to these sites, I met amazing works and after reading them I'm way more excited to consume it legally (even though I've already read it). My point is: How can I spend a lot of money if I don't know I'm gonna really enjoy it?
I read a comic on this site---> I like it a lot----> I buy all of the chapters anyway so I can support the author of the work I enjoyed so much.
I'm aware MY economy's stable and I can live from what I love to do, and buy every chapter or merch that I want, but NOT everyone's in the same position, so maybe their way of supporting the author is acquire like 2 or 3 chapters per month, and that's fine as well.

If you do have the economy: BUY THE CHAPTERS! even if you buy even like 1 or 2 per month, don't forget authors actually eat and have to pay lot of taxes lol. If you don't have the economy, ok go ahead, keep reading on illegal sites (anyway, nobody's gonna stop you), but if you do enjoy the work, at least save a little bit of money so you can show the author how much you love the work and subscribe to their patreon, buy at least some merch or some episodes.

PIRACY's not always black and white/good or bad, because we have all consume it at some point of our lives, some even without knowing. But let's remember; ART IS NOT A NECESITY, IT IS A LUXURY at the end of the day.
To find the balance you have to be empathetic with all the scenarios. People sometimes don't have money, and they wanna forget about an awful day with artworks that make them happy. But for artists i'ts not a hobby, it's their purchasing power, and it's tiring and unfair some people don't even wanna spend money on what you put your time, health and hard work every single day. (And L*zh*n takes a high percentage of what you receibe per chapter, so in the end you get almost nothing).

If the author don't want their work here anymore, let's respect their decision and do it without being rude to anyone. There are plenty of free works on legal platforms, or you can keep reading on sites like this, as I said before; your choice.

Also: Plz T*kT*kers stop spreading the site, let people search on their own.

Ya all, I have some news for you guys. Admins are turning off comment sections one by one. Hold your tits and be quite, stop messing around and read your manga/hwa/huas . Creators are pointing on this websites especially on comment section so be careful what you are typing out of anger. It is being recorded, at least I have been informed abt that. Cheers

I think y'all are forgetting that at one moment, the bed scene with Geumhee and Taeri, that Taeri was saying "Yeah have sex with me or forget me, don't ever talk to me again" which is straight up cruel??? It's forcing Geumhee to make a choice (to have sex with her which is worse) when at the point, Geumhee was confused to what to do because she was FORCED to be into the problems that Taeri started and that she thought she really died.
Like, maybe Yubora is also trash and I will admit it even if I love her but Taeri is also trash, not a saint.

I see a lot of people disliking the comments saying do romanticize are yall good in the head? Even the author said it is not a romantic story yall see two guys and yall go crazy.
Also, I am no hating on girls that read bl just stating before anyone come after me for that It’s a psychological, incredibly twisted, and graphic story following characters Yoon Bum and Oh Sangwoo. LIke did yall read the fucking story
“Killing Stalking” is a good example of a psychological story that shows the deep, dark impacts life of abuse can have on individuals. The story of Yoom Bum and Oh Sangwoo is a twisted one and shares the idea that some monsters are definitely made. It’s obvious they both care for each other, but it’s in a heavily toxic manner that leaves the reader almost speechless and quizzical as to how they should feel. Sangwoo feels a twisted attachment to Yoon Bum due to the man reminding him of his late mother. In a way, the relationship seems to be commentating on the intense fetishization of sexuality often shown towards male pairings in manga or fandoms as a whole.
Despite the fact that the relationship between Yoon Bum and Sangwoo is incredibly abusive and warped, there is a large part of fanbases fetishizing it simply for the fact that it’s a boy-on-boy story, rather than acknowledging the deeper, twisted aspects of it. This happens in other media as well, and throughout the plot, it seems the author hints at this issue in the webcomic/manga community. One theory related to Bum’s hallucinations and delusions is that he may have never been in the military at all and in fact, he may have met Sangwoo in a mental institution or similar place, this theory is supported by a scene in which Sangwoo speaks to Bum’s former landlord and he tells her that he hadn’t
served.
ASPD otherwise known as Antisocial Personality Disorder and Psychopathy are both common conditions of serial killers but out of what we have seen of Sangwoo thus far it isn’t quite certain what his mental illness is and it is often difficult to diagnose mental illnesses period, let alone those of serial killers. What we do know about Sangwoo is that his first killing was most likely when he killed his parents and we know that he did this because his father was abusive. ASPD seems to be the more likely of the two as it is common for those with ASPD to manipulate others and have a lack of regard for the safety of themselves or others which would fit Sangwoo’s behavior in many situations. Those with ASPD are more likely to break laws and act impulsively than those without the condition. It is likely that he had this condition since childhood and while there is no recognized mental condition to cause this he could be considered a collector since he has been seen taking women and then killing them and keeping their clothing. If you watch a lot of the psychological, thriller, or horror genres you have probably seen a character or two that have these tendencies. To use anime terms another sort that could commonly do this is a Yandere archetype character. A good example of this would be Toma from the anime and PSP game Amnesia as he keeps his object of affection caged once he feels he has no other choice. Bum has somewhat of a history of being a victim of sexual abuse as it is suggested he was sexually abused by his uncle as well as the incident in the military. This along with his social awkwardness and a suggested history of stalking not only Sangwoo but others and constant rejection Bum suffers from depression that caused him to self-harm as a coping mechanism Bum coped internally and by inflicting pain on himself versus Sangwoo whose coping mechanism was to kill things off at the source (literally) by killing his parents. And after his first time killing, he was more likely to kill again and my theory is that he has been collecting these women in a search for love since he never truly felt loved by anyone other than maybe his mother. With Sangwoo reminding him so strongly of his mother this, at least by my interpretation of events is very likely. Bum after being held captive by Sangwoo also seems to be developing classic Stockholm Syndrome in which he feels affection or sympathy for his captor despite all logical reasoning saying that he should be terrified rather than anything else. Bum seems to swing back and forth between showing behaviors of Stockholm and feeling spite towards Sangwoo for justifiable reasons and wanting to escape. SO yeah these bitches need help
