At no point do any of the adults take her seriously, especially not Kazuki - who is shy to begin with. never does he think of taking advantage of her infatuation or the situation.

hmmm maybe, just the drawing r really good but the profiles r weird, so bugged me. but in the last chapter (just uploaded) there is a mention on page 13 to "that duck faced handsome guy" so guess i'm not the only one who noticed. (⌒▽⌒)
When ever I draw something, I get really annoyed when they say "Your drawing is not porpotional", and no doubt you sound so much like those annoying people. Learn that everyone has different styles and that this is not an art class where you need to do something specific or realistic. The details she puts proves that this is her art style and she is good at it. So suck it up and accept it.

This isn't the first manga i've come across with weird or psychologically f*cked-up content. But with the others usually the author and readers don't "call it like it is" u know what ur getting into. Here everyone is treating this as a normal/cute love story. when it's far from the truth. And i for one find this disturbing. But if this is fun and cute to u or anyone else - go for it.
