To anybody who’s thinking about reading this, please do! It is so entertaining and there’s actually some real communication between the two leads.
I don’t know if this is just me, but I could only get to chapter four and I had to stop reading somewhere in the chapter. It was really uncomfortable to see a character to first not even get the second parties consent when sticking fingers into someone’s body, but to continue even when they are blatantly uncomfortable. Girl...that is not sexy that’s just rape. I’m tired of romanticization of rape in any genre to any sex or gender of the person. I don’t typically rant like this but I have to be real this just made me feel really uncomfortable, and from what other comments are saying I can’t believe this is supposed to portray the BDSM community. A core concern in the BDSM community is consent, plainly and simply this isn’t BDSM this is just rape.
