It is rape? You can be in denial all you want but even the woman who called this a "normal rape troupe" acknowledged it as rape. This manhwa is toxic but thats a seperate issue, when it comes to rape and sexual crimes thats not something you can come back from. I think thats the issue people have, this manhwa is probably gonna make it seem like rape is just a trial in a relationship that you have to overcome when its really an extreme violation of someones human rights.

This manhwa has a very clear depiction of rape, theres a power imbalance, Jaehyuk has been intermittently kind and Jaehyuk has threatened to use violence on dan these all create a sort of atmosphere where Dan is very intimidated and frankly, afraid. That contract dan made? Yes he knew he would have to sleep with Jaehyuk whenever Jaehyuk asked but that doesnt invalidate the fact that 90% of the time when Dan asks to stop or says wait Jaehyuk continues which turns the situation from sex to rape. In fact, Jaehyuk is extremely violent in intercourse he literally stated "you don't tear as easily anymore" as a joke. You underestimate how painful it is to be raped anally. Tears are extremely severe and often lead to an STI, i know Dan isnt real but you're refusable to acknowledge the rape in this is baffling. Havent you heard about prostitutes being raped because they wanted to stop? Dan always gets paid AFTER he is raped that means that it wouldnt cost Jaehyuk a cent to stop or give him a break.
