I think it’s as the same as all might ? Like even though he didn’t have one for all he still had embers of the quirk which he could still use so I’m pretty sure that’s what deku is doing he’s still using the embers of what’s left of one for all but the embers are just embers so he will use them all up or they’d fade away eventually just like all might after He fought all for one and deku will eventually end up completely quirkless at some point when the last remaining traces of one for all aka the embers fade fade away over time
