This scenario in a yaoi manga is cliche, right? But regarding this matter in this manga, I just wanna say my thoughts ^^. I especially like, as the uke had said, the seme's intention to erase the rape part from the memory of the uke and replace it with something romantic and fitting but then the uke also said that he knows that the memory won't really disappear but still he is happy with the intention of the seme to "erase" it from his memory. I just think that this is pure love from the uke's part because he still accepts the seme despite of the unforgivable thing that he did, not because he condones rape but because his love for the seme is greater than the hate the act of rape can create in his heart and that love is so pure that it can forgive and accept the seme and i really really like that. This was especially addressed in the Interval manga when the uke thought/asks himself something along the lines of "just because he loves me does it mean that what he did was acceptable?". They don't condone rape but their love is greater, they have a big heart that they can forgive the seme from this act (and that the seme loves them just the same). Same with the uke in Dakaretai Otoko Iichi Ni Odosarete, gosh I really adore the uke for forgiving and accepting (again because he loves him or is strongly attracted to) the seme and the seme returning the love just the same. I know, this is something in the borederline of psychology and logic but this is just me appreciating those kind cute souls that can love purely (well for me) and it's touching for me srsly or I'm just a hopeless person looking for a romance since I don't have any for the 19 yrs of my continued existence (All hail to people who are single since time immemorial)

Why didn't Suguro-san gave Kotaro-kun a bite mark on the nape? I'm pretty new to an omegaverse-themed manga but I'm pretty sure that a bite-mark on the nape from a fated partner to an omega is a sign that that omega is taken and cannot respond or be in heat if it's not with the their fated partner. Plus that signifies a strong bond between 2 people not of the same blood but loves each halves, right?

I mean, i find it weird that even though they were in the same uni for a few months or i dunno how long, that the red strings of fate only attached to each pf them later. Given that the red strings of fate here is pre-destined (?) since he didn't even see or know that, when his thread finally connected with someone, it was a guy at the other end. For me, it is somehow happy ending not because they did not ended up together but because the existsence of Akira lift Haruto from his despair. He gave him hope again, to begin dreaming again as you can see in the end. After this experience, Haruto became who he used to be, cheerful and determined and full of life ang it was all thanks to Akira. I say, give this a sequel pls. Like Haruto and the guy who exorcised Akira
