I just binge read it and i must say that there were times where it felt Feng deserved more and better than that.
I like that we get to see their teen romance, filled with impulsive choices, regretful mistakes and the excitement to live freely as young lovers. We get to see them grow, learn from each other and it was beautiful seeing Ye Qing entering Cheng Feng's life, he definitely needed a sunshine.
But oh boy... if only Ye Qing were more honest... but it's in his personality, obtuse, self-centered, naive and a bit annoying. I have to be honest, it was upsetting. So upsetting i almost wanted Cheng Feng not to come back cause he's better off alone...
But, their conciliation was ok. . . Ye Qing just changed, he knew he should've said the truth years prior, if only he was more honest with himself and ofc to Feng.
But what's "cute" is that he chased him the same way he chased Feng back then. . . He annoyingly followed and stayed close to him.
It reminded me of "Away From Cold" in many ways... and honestly... i almost thought it was the same story ngl. Both Mcs are bratty young masters who, casually one day, started chasing this poor dark-haired Boy who worked many part-time jobs just to find stability. The two would gradually come to get attached to the other, and then BOOM, suddenly we have a 5-7 year time skip because of family reasons.
The young master (MC) would have to change personality and way to live, as his family business was deteriorating. And the ML who had to go to oversea for collage, will be revealed his father is actually rich and then ML would come back years later as CEO for some conpany.
I find it funny cause i probably read 3-4 stories with the same structure now

Still not over that scene where Mr. Kwon flew all the way to Yeon-oh, and have that one last face-to-face convo.
Oh THE DELIVERY of this scene... was impeccable. The characters' expression and the warm lights of the streets completed that very fcking scene.
This is the real shit drama i want. This is the drama i was asking for. That is CINEMA.
The way you could FEEL IT. The tension of their confrontation and sensing the longing and the desire for the other. It was burning hot.
Babe, dead. I'm dead. Like the drama/plot it's not even complicated... but the way the Artist executed the lines and the art is just. . . DIVINE EXCELLENCY

Honestly i don't get why Yiseon should be incriminated for that.
Why is it such a big deal that Ysiseon tried to save his friends, he didn't knew it was gonna turn like that, he just wanted to be with his friends ._. He was alone trying to survive when his hunter friends tried to defeat that one monster.
I may be forgetting something about why is it so taboo for Yiseon to "bring back" the dead, but idk i can't seem to connect the stuff

Because imagine this in real life, it’s creepy as hell, he has dead friends roaming around his apartment while he’s feeding them, restoring dead people again when body body parts start to fall. I would be scared of this. This is not like resurrection or some, there are dead, been transformed as undead without their consent. It looks like farming
Man... starting something and not defining the relationship is not good.
You'll be trapped in the vicious cycle of doubt , uncertainty and paranoia.
Like tbh i don't think ML wants to be fwb, it's just mc who thinks that, from what i saw, both of them thinks they're in the unrequited side of the relationship. But on the other hand, it also feels like ML unconsciously makes it look like a fwb relationship.
And honestly this could've been avoided if Mc steps up and ask what are they OR, better yet, he confesses.
