originally she only let him get attached to her in hopes that it would prevent her sister's death later, since it was that attachment that led to big sis death in the original story. eventually she ended up loving him though.
the reason she's leaving now is because of what happened with her sister in the past, the reason big sis was fired as a member of the knights, it would cause them problems to be involved with the royals. so she's taking her sister and making a run for it!
It is always bc they "think" abt ML future with "original" FL - that is so naive and stupid, at the same time a lil bit selfish. But with the explanation at the end of this topic, if she is not running so the duke will be with "FL" but to again survive and keep her sister safe, then that is more reasonable than just as often this type of mangas give as an excuse "bUt U wIlL fInD OrIGiNal FL~"

But I don't hate Lucio. I mean I don't like him, but I feel like he hated himself so much he needed someone to love him no matter what form that was. He was traumatized so terribly that it's obvious he won't think straight or try to be a good person. With a trauma like that, I'm surprised he didn't kill himself, but he is self-destructive, which can be just as bad.
If he was truly a terrible person, he wouldn't have saved the MC. I honestly think he just needed someone beside him and unfortunately that toxic bitch (Rosmund) pulled him further and further into toxicity.
Yeah I agree completely with what you said. She's like a leech once she has a hold of something she doesn't want to let go because all she wants is his power and money. And I know something bad did happen to her it was horrible by all means but that's not give her the right to do that to our male/female lead.
