So I stopped reading this around chapter 30 I think but I just read the last chapter, I love spoiling stories for myself. That ending was actually very surprising (just from what I remember lol). What happened to the photographer dude?

Taku (photographer dude) manipulated Haesoo into dating him. While dating Taku, Haesoo realizes he cannot love Taku because he is still in love with Joowon. Taku senses that Haesoo does not love him but still tries to guilt him into being in a relationship with him. Their relationship comes to a head at Taku's exhibition where Haesoo decides to break up with Taku but Joowon gets in a car crash causing Haesoo to run to his side before ending things with Taku. Joowon and Haesoo confess to each other at the hospital and later that night Haesoo meets up with Taku to break up with him. Taku senses that Haesoo is going to break up with him so he breaks up with Haesoo and tells Haesoo he hopes he feels bad for breaking up with him (basically is toxic till the very end).
last time we see Taku he moved back to Japan (I think?) has become more successful in photography and is holding another exhibition. Taku then says he is dating someone new and that's the last we hear of him.

Aw man, I was kind of rooting for him, mostly because the relationship with Joowon seemed toxic at the beginning. I guess what really matters is the Haesoo is happy and now in a healthy relationship! Thanks for the summary!
I'm assuming the Duke remembers their past life, but was it different from the one she remembers? Because in hers, she doesn't remember being close to him, but in his they were basically in love? And then the story shifted to her also remembering that they were close? I'm just confused, can someone please help me out? ╥﹏╥

The duke also has his memory of his "past". Exactly like what Lippe had. But his goal is very different from lippe.
His whole goal is to get to the throne i believe/kill the king. or something idk
Lippe's was to keep her family alive.
in the beginning, his whole goal didn't evolve Lippe at all. but he then met each other when she sang that folk song long ago. And that slowly gained him that he should also protect and help her too.
in the end they will soon be very helpful for each other's goal even more than how they have been doing!
to be more elaborate in what will happen, (you can stop here if you don't want even more spoilers of the whole story) Lippe will be very involved with the King. and Rias will need to protect her so the King's plan is ruined.

I know it's wrong, but I just don't know how to get interested in the story again. I love how realistic this story is, like how it didn't just have the typical "We fall in love and everything is roses" aspect but I just don't see how their relationship will progress. Paulina just admires and respects the emperor, but it's not love. Maybe it's just moving too slow for me. It has been 100 chapters. I'm just super impatient, even though I really want to see how the author will progress the story. I just don't know if I have it in me to wait another 100 chapters for there to be progress. Don't get me wrong, I truly do like how considerate the author is. I'm just impatient. I won't be dropping this, but I don't have that excitement I had when I first started reading. Sorry for ranting :(
