I like how akiha was able to defend himself from the fox. Usually in cliche BL plots, the "bigger" partner runs and saves the "delicate" partner..its nice that akiha was able to defend himself on his own!

Cute story. Premise was decent. However I felt the story moved too fast. Story could've been better if there was more character development and relationship development.
This is one of my favorite BL manga of all time. The art is a bit dated but the emotions that come with reading this...it hurts!!! MY HEART!!! I can FEEL their anguish and pain...anyone who loves angsty, emotional forbidden love stories, this is one of the best out there for BL manga imo.
I'm so shocked this has an 8.3 and not at least a 9.0 rating here....if you like this beautiful story, PLEASE rate it 5 stars to bump up the rating so others will notice this classic!

I never out a rating for a manga/manhwa unless its complete but I had to give it 5/5 stars...
Everything about this manhwa is phenomenal. I am obsessed! The author created a unique world and does an amazing job immersing the reader into it. The culture, the societal norms...its literally like watching a movie. That's how captivating this manhwa is. It isnt just the plot (which is incredibly intriguing 5/5) but the pacing, story telling, setting...etc! Even the side characters. Art is beautiful too.
Speaking of characters...the main characters of this are the most complex, developed, and multi-dimensional I've ever seen in manga. Most characters I see in other manga are 1 dimensional, have a certain set of characteristics and history that define them. But not in this manhwa. Characters are a product of their upbringing, place in society, and unique experiences...and have all developed and interact with others in a fascinating way unique to each character. I cant even explain lol
If you have been putting this off like I have..i suggest you start reading right now! Well paced, full of suspense, mystery, intrigue...as well of some romance, comedy, and some darkness. This manhwa has it all. Love it!

This shouldnt get a low rating simply because there's cheating involved. This manga has a lot of feels and I know people who've had similar relationship issues.
Many commenters asked why did he cheat? I think the point was that they've are in a long term relationship, I would say 4 or so years? Anyone who's been in a long term relationship know there are occasions when you find others attractive etc...nothing wrong with that either. it's when you catch yourself thinking those thoughts which is what Arata did. People cheat in long term relationships for many different reasons but I think the mangaka was trying to show that it takes a conscious effort to be faithful to your partner, especially when things get very comfortable with your partner and end up taking them for granted...forgiveness in the end is also a theme as well.

Yes, their relationship was toxic, I never said their relationship was cute? All I said was that it was realistic and that it shouldn't get a low rating just because one of the characters was a cheater. And unfortunately, in real life, people do stupid shit and take their partners for granted and get forgiven.
I reviewed this manga based on how it touched on common themes all people experience in long term relationships..growth and change. I am in my first long term relationship (6 years) and the couple in this manga was going on 10years?? I mean anyone who's been in a long term relationship know the occasional "what if..." thoughts...or get bored, or gradually grow apart...and to stay together you really have to put in the effort.
anyway. Im just rambling right now. i appreciate this manga Haha. This manga isnt for everyone.
I appreciate this manga. Back in high school many years ago, I dated someone who was hearing impaired and had a cochlear implant. Aside from us being young, communication was definitely more difficult given his situation... but also my lack of understanding of it. This manga reminds me of my youth! Itb does a superb job going into the thoughts of a person with a hearing impairment and how it shapes their identity and their place in society.
I took a sign language in college which gave me the opportunity to learn more about a the deaf community and things related Anyway, this manga does an excellent portrayal of it all, including the differences between the hard of hearing communities and deaf.
Excellent manga with loveable characters. I'm looking forward to the updates!
