I'm happy I finally read this. It is worth it if you're looking for a true angsty, emotional, raw and real story with well fleshed out characters,
character development . This story is not for people looking for a quick, mindless, feel good (or should i say feel "nothing" haha) read.
For those who don't know, references to the dancing star and abyss are quotes from the philosopher Nietzsche.
Top tier writing and story telling.
I am obsessed with these relationship tropes and had high expectations from this one. Unfortunately, it suffered from horrible fan translations (maybe an official translation in the future?)
But also as other people have said, it was abrupt character changes and not character development.
Despite the bad translation, this started off strong and promising with a good premise, supporting characters, and main character histories. Unfortunately, it felt rushed towards the middle and end. Loved everything about this but it could've been better.

Why is this rated an 8.5? It is definitely a 9.0 minimum...I noticed readers here dont give high ratings to toxic love type of stories even though they are incredibly well written...
True, its not a fluffy feel-good story and the relationship is toxic. However, this is so well written and clearly well thought out. Love the character development and plot twists too! A dark, psychological BL for sure.

I thought this would be another cliche cross dressing bl with a super feminine guy....boy was I wrong! This is so unique, erotic...breath of fresh air. Love it!!!

So much emotion, angst, character development, suspense, appropriate smut in the novel.
