One of the reasons I can think of why Reinelle and Karmeut didn’t have a child again was the fear of going through those hibernation sessions of Reinelle so maybe, just maybe Helise is an only child and (as expected) grew up so well since both his parents are good and doting.
Namiel wearing a veil on their wedding which I think Aria gave it to him after the ceremony is such a canon event in my mind. Like, I always say he is the wife in the relationship. Also, I imagined them having 3 kids or more in the future since I expect Aria to be so forward and dominant that Namiel couldn’t just resist and would just agree to go with the flow. I hope they got their paid long honeymoon.
Mirdin and Hempel (not sure of the spelling of her name even if she is the hottest character I’ve seen in this manhwa) has such a loving and strong relationship. Their friendship is such a touching thing and the fact that they both don’t have children together and instead stayed with each other is hella sus but I support! I mean, Mirdin is so protective of her (experiment) and Hempel is also protective of Mirdin. They fit each other so well and I loved their special chapter the most because I was curious about how they meet (I know it was revealed but I was expecting it to be a long conversation not just some panels showcasing their youth).
The previous emperor (Karmeut’s father) seems like a good husband but he most definitely didn’t become a good father. Maybe it’s because he lost his wife so early that’s why he became like that but such reasons is valid at first. I was hoping for him to have been a good father at some point of Karmeut’s and his siblings while growing up but he did not. He left them be and that’s so unforgivable. He may be rational but I still don’t like it that way.
Such a good read for a fluff historical rofan manhwa. It doesn’t have such hard villains or complex allies so reading it doesn’t make me feel anxious. That factor can be a pro and con but for me, it is a pro. I mean, there are so many manhwa’s out there that stresses the freak out of me so reading something this light is a breath of fresh air.
