I understood something along the lines of:
Family wanted him to become someone really strong so they basically made him stay ALWAYS in wolf form to raise him more as a weapon for I don't understand what reason (I think it was to protect the pack in case the alpha is a tyrant, he's a supervisor who can put down the leader) before than as a normal pack member. When his animal aggressiveness was enough (the situation with the nanny, I think?), that made him pass a test: become friends with these people your age and then kill them because you're a weapon before a member of the pack: "We need to make sure your aggressiveness and violence comes before your love for others or sense of belonging to a pack".
One of the young ones who were part of the test was the brother of the other one and was killed by Wolfie, so the blonde idiot for (I didn't understood) some reason started a relationship with Wolfie but Wolfie went into big bad wolf mode and saw him as a threat or smth and attacked him. The sister instead of thinking "oh, my family is stupid and delulu and raised my brother AS A WEAPON, so I should understand that my brother is not the monster but my effing parents are." went "my brother is the big bad wolf the fairy tales warn you against. He's a killer machine, he has no heart, it's his nature, he's a threat, he's delulu." so they hate him and are afraid of him thinking he's a monster.

Maybe I'm 100% wrong and that could be but idk, that's what I understood

his dad raised both his sister and him differently to secure both positions as the clan leader and the overseer one under their family. But in his case his dad on purpose let him be raised in a way that would make his pheromones reach the highest, making him more feral and uncontrollable. The opposite of his sister which was very well raised to be the perfect clan leader which made chiyoung resent his father for it. This lead him to not have control over his beast form and attack others since he was young even his own siblings. His sister grew up kinda afraid of him as everyone else and since the overseer position is take down anyone including the clan leader who poses to be a threat to the clan this built some kind of resentment towards chiyoung who didn't wanted this life and was also cast aside by his own family. The blonde guy was the brother of another guy who was sent with another kids to be chiyoung friends when he was kinda exiled/training to take the overseer but the truth was that those kids were sent to kill him bc he was uncontrollable, so blond guy resents chiyoung for killing his brother and attacking him at some point when they 'dated'. Blond guy and sister teamed up against chiyoung but ended up liking each other and getting together at some point too.

It really gets confusing since manhwa leaves aside some aspects and the novel you can see more of the character internal monologue.
