Tbh I don't like this arc, but in a way it's helping I guess both to become stronger in their relationship. Both have their wrong doings. I can imagine Nemu not being with Maya anymore as much as I like them as a couple, but despite what Nemu has gone through back in high school and was treated badly by Maya and raped by him, I really didnt see a point for them to stay together. Nemu would have had a lot more anxiety and panic attacks in my opinion. Maya on the other hand I feel that once he's in a happy relationship and things don't go his way he's even more vulnerable and will get used more by others when he is down. Probably even crushed to the point of death. Idk really. they may break up now but I feel in the near future they will get back together again like in some relationships are like.
