Gosh. This is so great. No romance, yey! I love the MC's personality. He's very realistic. But it seems that the King, his father, loves him and truly cares for him, but bc of that damned unspoken law to show no care for illegitimate children, he must ignore him. That sucks. The mother, after knowing that she had a child with the king, went away and never once asked for support for the child even on her deathbead. That's just so sad.
