The Male Lead is Mine!
16. I like it, but there's some little parts that bother me to the point where it's always in the back of my mind as I'm reading.
1. MC adapts pretty quickly. We don't really get to see her asses her situation and mourn the loss of her previous life, even though it was a painful one. We just immediately get to the point where she's over it and she's studying diligently.
2. MC is pretty set on taking the male lead, which is nice that she's so straightforward, but it bothers me that she doesn't even think about what she's doing to Lujin. I mean, we read that she's the daughter of the concubine, right? And she's being treated as a maid. Doesn't she feel even a little bit guilty for stealing her future from her? For the OG FL that's going to live as a maid for the rest of her life? It's just so carefree with no urgency or struggles at all. It's refreshing that she isn't as frustrating as some FL, but it's equally frustrating that she doesn't seem to feel anything at all...
