I think Sebastian encountered this man when he was on his own investigating people during one of Our Ciel's missions or Sebastian sneaks out at night sometimes to have fun since demons don't need to sleep. Maybe this guy is a one night stand of Sebastian's that died like beast did? Maybe that's why the man called Sebastian a "demon". He probably meant it literally and figuratively? There's going to be a lover's quarrel in the next chapter lol

I have a personal theory that Claudia and him knew each other and were friends in the past, it's silly I know lol. I just think it'll be sweet for some reason. I also think Polaris knew Claudia too or he probably was just friends with Vincent and working at the Phantomhive manor. I think this because he cares too much about the Phantomhive's so he must have had a close relationship with the past Phantomhives (Claudia and Vincent). The past Phantomhive's were his bosses so why would he be crying about them?! I just don't get it. How close was he to his ex bosses?!
