Noun. yandere (plural yanderes) (chiefly Japanese fiction) A character, usually a girl, (in our case, a boy) who fits the archetype of being genuinely kind, loving, or gentle, but suddenly switching to being aggressive or deranged, often homicidally so.

Ranging from separating their darlings from others, to threating others or to keep their darling captive to actually doing so and possibly killing~!
