I think Taegun knows Eunsung isn't using him since he already said Eunsing is a good guy. And he defended him when the mint haired guide bad mouthed Eunsung. Taegun's just not ready for another romantic relationship, especially since Eunsung and Taegun's relationship rn is basically just them fucking/guiding after Taegun's backlash.
Their date was bittersweet, and it also brought insight of both of their true feelings
