I cannot believe I was going to skip this. It was gorgeous. Understated but mesmerising. Thank you to the people whose comments I read before I started!
It was actually the "age gap" tag that threw me off - although having read the story, I totally understand why the tag applies. But usually, that tag means that the *romantic/sexual* relationship will involve an age gap, and when I see "age gap" in the tags and "young high school student" in the description I'm not enthusiastic. That would have been such a shame, because everything about this was beautiful.

We made sure to assure people that the high schooler was not a romantic interest (since it'd be obvious right from the start for the people who've read night on the galactic railroad), unfortunately mangago doesn't carry over our comments when they rip the manga so a lot of people missed the campanella reference...

Sigh, mpreg again. Does anybody else remember the good old days of yaoi, when two males could just bang for love and pleasure (or revenge, or hate, or whatever)?? Seriously I feel like these days there's way more pregnancy in yaoi than there is in shoujo and josei put together. Whyyyyyy...
I'm happy for those who like it, but I'm really not into mpreg or babies. Babies are so not sexy or romantic. Cute beasties manga sorta spoiled for me.
(Cue dislikes - but that's okay)

Not entirely surprised... but since Naono Bohra has done a lot of supernatural stories over the years, I hoped this one might buck the current trend. Again, not trying to insult anyone else liking it. I just get really disappointed when it turns out to be yet another new supernatural yaoi with a trope that really puts me off the story.

Personally I'm not a fan of human 'pets,' or big age gaps where one's reeeally young but from Jane's dodgy smile... I'm pretty sure it's gonna be one of them, damnit.
Please be a puppy or ferret or hedgehog or hamster or ocelot or something! (Or maybe just an adult that's really useless at adulting.)

Sabita Yoru Demo Koi Wa Sasayaku and sequels: amazing, emotional, deep story involving one main character in an abusive relationship. This: honestly, so far sorta mediocre. It's not horrible by any means, but not what I'd hoped for (at this point). Miya's reasons for staying in a domestic abuse situation, and his feelings about Eiji and the abuse, just seem quite hmmmm shallow? I'm not sure exactly how to say it. But I mean that the way this is written seems to be treating those aspects in an almost shallow way, like it's a vaguely angsty plot device to get the 2 MCs living together, and the REAL issue is that Fukami's straight. It doesn't sit quite right with me at the moment. But I shall persevere.

U know I reread chaptr 1 and he does say he originally did bdsm play with Eiji but that he's been taking it too far recently or smthg like that. But I sense 0 yandere vibes from Eiji and 0 fear from the MC (neko) so maybe the author will abandon that plotline in favor of Fukami being set up somehow to be the next boyfriend. But yeah, like you I'm unimpressed so far...I was hoping for something clicheless...esp since Fukami doesnt look like hell be bisexual any time soon.

This was great! Haruhi did some dangerous things and the story could have been quite dark, but somehow because it focused on his relationship with Masa it has a gentle, uplifting feeling. The story conveys that he was hurting himself and he was lucky that the consequences weren't even worse, but not in a dark way.
Such a tiny thing but I could have done without that "Gobble," what the heck kinda sound effect was that...

Taking a short break from binge-reading, because I can't keep my reaction to chapter 3 to myself...
What was the point of pulling his pants all the way down to his ankles to jerk off, if he was just going to jizz all over himself - and even the floor! - anyway? For god's sake boy, it's the age of internet porn. Surely every guy keeps tissues near his computer!
Maybe it's because I come from a western food culture plus I'm vegetarian, but even though I truly do believe that if you're going to kill an animal for food you should eat the whole animal... the idea of offal just makes me queasy! That bathroom scene in chapter 1 would have had me retching all over the place hahaha - and then it's offal again in chapter 2!!!
Oh, but I really like the story, it's refreshingly unusual, and the art is great!
