i dont get why some people are against romance in this specific manhwa bec the creator just develops it soo good in the best way. whoever says that jiwoo and jiyoung dont belong to eachother need to understand that they arent far in age/ jiyoung is mature enough to know that where jiwoo is in life isnt compared to where she is and vice versa, jiwoo is aware that he cant be next to her knowing his lack of knowledge of the world around him. and honestly i think they match eachother perfectly. jiyoung had been put in a position where she had to step up and take control over her family's heir at a young age and jiwoo is a breathe of fresh air who is constantly trying to prove himself around the people next to him that he can be someone they can rely on. and jiyoung and jurion dont even make sense. first SHE DOESNT EVEN LIKE HIM. and second it always felt like she was just gonna be an additional trophy towards his achievements.
and side note, idk why people keep bashing on the romance. the people who say they dont get the "forced romance" are just woman haters atp jiyoung is her own strong character without jiwoo. the creator has been hinting at it, its never forced and it never takes over the plot. their relationship has BEEN building up. whoever says their relationship is toxic cant see the complexities of their personalities and how theyve viewed eachother.
it mightve been “a little over a year” since jiwoos been training under kayden, but for us readers its been SIX YEARS <3
to this day since pink hair dude was introduced, i still have no clue what exactly his power is… i just assume its super strength.
also i think its a shame that he was defeated so easily bec of how early he was introduced, but at the same time i think the creator purposefully did this to show jiwoo’s growth amongst his peers. when jiwoo first met pink haired dude he seemed intimidating and someone jiwoo could never win against but now it seems like jiwoo overpowered him, so he surpassed rookie level talent.

whenever i reread this story i get so insanely emotionally invested in ruby and izek's relationship. i love how the chapters of them communicating their feelings are written. bec i can sympathize with both of them, ruby wanting to be desperately heard but fearing abandonment, and izek wanting to know every bit of her without the possibility of her feeling unstable in their relationship... i just love them so much my favs <3
