Tbh toxic relationships are interesting to read about, but are not good in practice. People who are in favor of characters in toxic relationships and ship them because they a history together, need to re-evaluate why they have such a vested interest in them.

I like Taku x Haesoo not because I think they can have an everlasting relationship (cuz that is not realistic), but because it's what Haesoo needs to heal from the trauma he has experienced in having a relationship with Joowon.

Joowon and Haesoo emotionally abuse and manipulate each other because that is what they are used to doing. Nothing good will come out of them remaining in that kind of relationship together.

I believe that we meet people in life to help us grow and change (hopefully for the better) so that we become the person we're meant to be. Struggles and trauma are not healthy, but they can be overcome.

Tl;dr: Toxic relationships should stop being idolized in fiction and we should promote healthy relationships instead.

I'm sorry but I have to say this. Why is Taku a dick? In what way? Why is he in any way being judged 'just as bad' as any other character when virtually hasn't done anything yet to be judged?
I am seeing tons of people saying stuff like ' I hope Haesoo doesn't end up with any of them, they are all asshole/dick/ etc'
I mean, if you root for Joowon, I can understand the 'if Joowon can't have it, then nobody can' because that is the only way you can possibly assign guilt and blame and bad things to a character that literally just showed up and hasn't done ONE FUCKING THING BAD TO HAESOO so far.
On the contrary, Taku has just had few interactions with Haesoo and the changes he caused have been good:
- Haesoo is getting the will to write again. Taku is becoming some kind of muse
- Haesoo is starting to re evaluate his submission to a situation that does him harm
- Haesoo is maybe for the first time getting a feeling that there are other people out there that can interest him
- Haesoo just did what he never dared to do before: he stood up to Joowon's treatment of him.
- In the future chapters, Taku is showing respect for Haesoo feelings and although he is interested in dating him, Taku is waiting for Haesoo's pace instead of pressuring him.
- In the future chapter, Taku is literally doing what a boyfriend, a good one, would do: he is giving comfort, he is listening, he is healing, he is saying that Haesoo should stop his bad habit of hurting himself, he is aware, even without being told with words that Haesoo is hurting.

So I really dare you to come up with receipts to the charge that Taku should be included in this blank blanket you are trying to throw over all of them just to sound unbiased when in reality you are not. IF AND WHEN Taku actually acts like a jerk, an asshole, an unreliable person to Haesoo, you can then come back and say such things.... wishful thinking, lame ass interpretations that he is 'shady' because he said this or that isn't fooling anyone.
If you like Haesoo and is truly unbiased, give a chance to the new character to show which kind of partner he would be before discarding him as trash.
If you ship Joowon x Haesso, the truth is that Joowon could beat up Haesoo to a pulp and you still you find a way to say he is not that bad of a boyfriend. And Taku could grow wings and a halo and you still say shit like '... this guy is shady, they are all assholes, Haesoo should end up alone'.
We see you sister! Come back with receipts.
