So in my imagination, it'll go like this:
Makino seriously considers stealing the info, but actually doesn't. But the guy catches him in a compromising position, and assumes that he leaked it, thus kicking him out and abandoning him. Makino doesn't correct him because he thinks it's karma. But in the end, when the boss realizes the info wasn't leaked, he'll profess his love, and they'll have sexy times ;)
booooo, I thought it would be new chapters :( here's more of that volume

anyone have theories about that book and tatsuya's reaction?
But didn't they say it's 'his father' who was the writer in the first chapter and they said the pen name and Daichi fangirled over it?
We were told that Tatsuya was adopted but we were never told about his birth family. So what if Tatsuya's dad really was a famous writer (different pen name) and he's now following in his footsteps?
Right. That's why I put it in quotes. That the author who is 'said' to be his father (at school) is actually Tatsuya himself.
But what if this is close to the truth and his birth father was a famous writer (different pen name) and that book Daichi is showing is one the father wrote?
Actually, does his adopted family know he is a writer? It kind of hinted they didn't know where he was getting the money (inheritance)?
Tatsuya was the author. When he saw it he said it in his thoughts.Maybe you have to check it again.
A lot of people are thinking that her father died, but am I the only one thinking it was a situation similar with Shou? He was just using her to pass his exams, get a job, etc?
I hope not. But the latest chapter is suggestive that it may be like what you have said, or it could be that saena-san maybe is scared of commitment and she is just starting her career as a lawyer with a promising future and she could not risk being tied down so early to responsibilities. Well we will know the answer next month with its update.(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I think so too. If her father really died, I think Saena would cherish Kyoko afterall she loves him so. But if her father betray Saena then leave her behind, no wonder she would thought of Kyoko as 'tragic accident', something that shouldn't happened. And everytime she sees Kyoko who resemble her father it would remind her of him, just like what Saena says to Lory 'It would be a lie if I don't find her cute sometimes, but it impossible for me to love that child'.
HmmHHmmm....
