See I was very skeptical about this story when I first came here then I read it and realized the ML is not the worst person. he’s respecting her wishes, something not even her family is doing. I’m guessing she’s gonna accept to getting married to him (something he didn’t initiate bc of the 12 year age gap and even rejected her) is to survive bc the guy her family is pushing her to marry will most likely try to abuse her bc he’s obsessed with having her. I just wished they didn’t add the fact that the ML was liking her when she was a minor yikes so ima have to drop this
For once I wished they made a story where the FL stands on business and doesn’t give in into the guy who partook in her life going down. Also this girl still likes him, dude was gonna leave her alone cuz she’s sick but she’s like alright let’s have sex like girl if you ain’t want it you wouldn’t have given in -_- also hate how that ceo with the plants is obviously the second ml who’s gonna treat her so good that she’ll still not choose him in the end smh. Also green eyes are “monster like” ??? lol since when cuz that’s just lazy writing

Yes WE know that things had been awful for her in her home and that she’s overcoming all of those things, but mind you HE has no idea of what’s really going on. If anything he feels ashamed because he thinks that since he’s a “lowly” knight he has basically driven his wife out of luxury into a situation where she thinks she has to partake into things noblewomen wouldn’t typically do. Only read twenty chapters and it feels like the story is almost over? It’s like very chapter brings new plots and the pace is really fast actually. He found out the cousin was behind everything so quickly, for someone who was able to be so manipulative and seduce men pretending to be the FL she was very dumb to reveal her true nature so openly to the servants and to the ML. And he got rid of her easily too lol she’s already sent off to a convent, like she could’ve been the first antagonist of the story and caused more misunderstandings between the FL and ML but her arrogance clouded her judgement and by the 21st chapter she’s already gone ? Lol ok,
then we have these subplots of the dad also being naive and getting into messy situations with his brother, also how are they even in speaking terms? They lost their money up to the point where FL could barely make ends meet but his brother couldn’t at least offer for them to stay at his house? Lol ok?
Then we have this other subplot of the servants and the mother in law and family members mistreating the FL, which apparently is going nowhere so far, just more plots that keep piling up
Then we have this new reveal that the king has an illegitimate son and killed his sons (like hello this is a MAJOR point, plot wise, why do we already know this), and is probably gonna dispose of the crown prince next, who by the way is also naive since he can’t even see how his fiancée is using him (another subplot) like cmon ur next in line to the throne aren’t you supposed to be way more perceptive of these things. (Callisto could never ifykyk)
Don’t get me wrong ima still keep reading LOL, but as someone who’s read a lot of similar it just feels weird to read something that’s going this fast
Also how are you gonna say to listen to her side of the story when you ignore ur own mothers??!!
