You know, there's just something unfathomably UNsexy about a man competing with a literal child
And not just some random child - his OWN child!
He should be interested in taking care of his OWN child - whether or not his wife is - not view him as a competitor!?
But noooo...! When his wife didn't want to raise their kid, he acted like it was someone else's fucking problem. And now that she does want to care for the child he, instead of stepping UP as a fucking father, he steps BETWEEN mother and son...
As if she's supposed to care for them both equally when one is A CHILD and the other is a fucking ADULT.
Uuuuurgh! Nope, I'm out! I'm done!
You're totally right! I just convine myself that since its based in a novel/historical era, women didnt have much rights but were solely in charge of caring for their kids while the father has little to no responsibility in childcare until the children are older. Thats what i use to convinve myself when reading isekai mangas like this one.
YESSS thank you !! It is not endearing and it isn’t attractive at all - say it for the people at the back. I get the idea of a possessive man being attractive to some degree because wow he adores me so much that he just doesn’t want to share, but that is only attractive to a certain degree and after that it becomes psychotic.
And the thing here is, as you said, he is competing with his own child (!?) but I also gotta say why is the child viewing his dad as a competition? The weirdness is going both ways… I do find the ml weirder but it makes me just as uncomfortable how the child is acting. Normally a child would be happy for his father to give him attention - at that age your parents are your whole world, you are dependent on them and crave for their affection. But instead he sees him as a competition for his mother’s love/affection?
It’s really giving Sigmund Freud and that is never a good thing urgh
I mean it's not like the fl showed love to both of them from the start...it started suddenly. So they both crave that love for themselves since they got it suddenly and rarely especially the child just like how a person don't want to share special things to other and in this case her love is special and rare to both of them.So in your word the ''normally'' didn't happen since they never got to have her ''normally'' given love.
Wait, did he ever reveal the plagiarism? Did we learn what happened between them in the past?
Did I just miss it, or did we not get any resolution on any of that??
To explain, haejin knew sunwoo did that to him.The issue at hand was that Sunwoo never once acknowledged it bc as we later learn, he felt guilty by the fact he blew off the prize money on foolishness while Haejin really need it. Not to mention while Haejin family being poor & constantly sick, it came in the way of his writing and he always felt like he couldn’t do anything he loved cause something always came up to burden him.
There are some serious inconsistencies and flaws in the art and it kinda bothers me...
Like, in one panel there'll be a closeup of the Belkellon grabbing Alexa's left hand, yet when they pan out he's holding her right hand (which makes for a very awkward position, btw)
Or Alexa holding his wrist in a close-up, but then it's his hand in the full view.
Also Alexa's expression in one panel made me go: wtf?!
I think she was supposed to look happy, but her expression just looked kinda evil and it was hella weird.
I'm not of the opinion that just because your art isn't perfect then you can't make a webtoon, and if the author isn't able to keep up quality bc of time limitations, that's alright with me. But some of these inconsistencies just required the author to reference their own art for a moment, for them to be avoided...
The people slut shaming the FL need to realise we're in the 21st century...
They are not bf/gf and they haven't agreed on being exclusive, so she is literally doing nothing wrong.
If we really gotta be critical of her, one could argue that she's being slightly insensitive in not considering that her fwb might have feelings for her.
Oh, except for the fact that he literally JUST told her he didn't. So.
It's. Not. Wrong. For. A. Woman. To. Be. Sexually. Active.
The only problem I have with her sleeping with this guy is that he's been putting up major red flags. I think we've got a psycho/stalker on our hands, here.
Is chapter 66 incomplete? It seems like the last sentence was cut off in the middle...
