ok besides the fact that the crown prince is handsome, dont yall think part of his personality is a wee bit controlling? the way he viewed the fl was a bit disgusting in my opinion. like he wanted her to cry over everything and "reflect"? or how he wanted to "harm" her? its ok tho bc i like toxic men ╥﹏╥

tbh the way they portray trauma is rly disgusting. like how do you expect a whole victim to still be "ok" after all of that. AND TO STILL SPEAK TO THE PERSON THAT GOT HER INTO THE MESS? absolutely not. like theyre trying to rush her 'recovery', when most people dont actually recover.

I mean the main story is literally trauma. A 16 yr old who basically got bullied into taking a 40 yr old snake man and 20 yr old leopard man as her spouses all the while being endlessly pressured to have their kids. Plus she literally just keeps getting kidnapped and having men force their superficial love onto her while almost always being in danger. But we're not reading this for realism it's all just mindless entertainment and it is fiction so...

idk if its just me but i feel like the emperor isnt entirely in the wrong. think of it as if you were in his shoes, after all the trauma of literal murder and abuse, then a woman comes along and says that she 'understands' you but is really manipulating your trauma into affection. he doesnt know that shes actually pure evil because he sees her as her 'savior' from his own trauma. honestly i only blame the emperor partially since he hasnt noticed everything yet, but that trash of a woman literally knows everything thats happening and still chooses to act this way.
some times i wish she'd just kill everyone that looked down on her and end the novel there BC THIS IS KILLING ME. the way everyone thinks less of her just bc she isnt as preppy or bitchy as the other noblewomen :l
