I thought I finally found a good polyandry manga but no. The MC being monogamous rlly makes no sense for the plot and only makes the readers frustrated. Monogamy is extremely impractical and risk-taking in the beast's world. The snake guy is perfect, I'm sorry but I would never choose Joey over him...why can't she just take in multiple husbands. In a world that survives off of it, why can't the FL be like the one in Empress's Harem?
Honestly I see this trend in shoujo/josei and reverse harem where the FL is always a virgin that seems to lack interest or experiences in relationships, boys, sex, etc, and only ends up with 1 guy, but needs that guy to pursue her at first. It just contributes to the whole idea that women who are very experienced in relationships and sex are devalued. And the stereotype that men are 24/7 horndogs.
