The second, which you will see in the comments here, are the type that expect tops to be 100% pure angels or they're suddenly "shit". My guess is he found there is no solution to the binding problem, the alternative is to hate him forever, or in this case has neglected him for five years? With some guiding in between. The comments are making this story out like as though the top is murdering and torturing the bottom, when it's not even NEARLY as toxic as more than half of the BLs out there. The top isn't even homophobic, he has trauma from male guides but the commenters like to ignore that for some reason.
