I read this story 5 years ago and it left such a deep impression on me that I hope others will enjoy it. The genre is historical fantasy shonen ai. The initial typesetting isn't overly professional and the art style is a bit old but it doesn't have ye-Olde-yaoi-weird-proportions and is pretty pleasing tbh. I hope some of you can enjoy it. I second this, I really love this story and the author's other work Silver Diamond. It feels like you've been pulled into the fantasy world that the author creates, it's such good writing. And it really tugs your heartstrings too! I hope people give it a chance because I know the beginning scan quality/older art style can be offputting for some.
Mine is when one much older person raises/mentors the other person (likely since they were a kid) only for the kid to grow up and develop romantic feelings for their pseudo-parent/mentor. The older person resists for a long time before ‘giving in’ and getting involved with the younger person. Since the younger person is technically the ‘aggressor’ it’s skirts by grooming insinuation but it still feels skeevy as fawk to me.
