He really wanted to cuddle up (more like sleep next) to max on their 'last quest' together (the one where max turned to stone) but he realized doing so can be creepy and stayed away.
Jaehyuk is such an asshole that whenever he does something marginally good, I think 'wow, so he is human afterall' the bar for good character work is in hell.
Also yeah probably the writer planned this but it's crazy, they know their art improved from BJ alex and they have significant popularity so they don't have to worry about writing a likable person. Even Jiwon (Alex) was a complete shitfest until he suddenly switched and began begging dong-hyun to come back to him. I wonder why they decided to use the same formula here but made it much much worse.
Jaehyuk pretty much rapes Dan (who already has trauma from an attempted rape, completely shutting his opportunities as a regular doctor) and Dan doesn't even enjoy sex until the last 10 or so chapters. JH's preference in sex is honestly just being a selfish dude and using the other person. Idk how the author plans to make Dan fall for him after he's dehumanised Dan for so long. Ofc the 'paying his debt' and 'being adored by grandma' helps but it still feels crazy. Will this also resolve with Jaehyuk gradually getting obsessed w Dan and begging him to stay? Only time will tell.
I'm going to pick chibi crying Eden with a pinch and put him in a small bed with a blanket so no harm will ever come to him again
The revenge scheme was hairbrained in the first place, and attached to that is the fact that neither of the characters have any personality. In-seob has been spineless since the beginning, and nothing about what makes him supposedly special or unique or skilled is any of those things. He's just... a weak willed guy who wants to go up against a dickhead that supposedly caused the death of his best friend. Said dickhead has nothing good about himself either, and has not a single compelling characteristic as a love interest. I struggle to see why this manga has the popularity or the rating it does.
They are so fucking great omg and the daughter even w/o context ships them... imagine if she actually knew their history. Youji is a dreamgirl man.
Obviously they've always been in love, and there must be so much heartbreak in having your lover leave you to fulfill his sense of familial piety. But not everyone gets a chance to reunite and make recompense for their mistakes right? And to still love each other so much after so many years? I'm so glad love ended right up for them. For so many couples I've read about in manhwa/manga whose the parents/grandparents were in love things didn't end so well, so I'm glad things went well here.
Is that it was initially built upon challenge, some kind of raw desire mixed with misplaced obsession. In time it's mellowing out and we see them just care for each other, unwilling to give each other up, making quietly a place for themselves together, even if it is just shin's (their) home. Their dynamic feels real like the thrum of fondness beneath the skin. Probably my favorite manhwa couple tbh.
'God can no longer see everyone, because those who communicate with him only pray for the wealthy, and have failed to inform him of the lives of the people. We have blindfolded the lord ourselves. Is it not indeed blasphemy?' WHAT THE FUCKKKKK THATS REALLY GOOD WRITING
Luke, super positive: maybe i can every becomes his best friend!!!
Andrew, pensively staring into the distance: *having first mlm thoughts of his life*
Not Tae-moon recieving paternal love for the first time from his FB's parents. Now he'll realise that it's not bc sunwoo was abused that he's like this, but because his family has always been present, loving and accepting of his peculiarities, and tried to give him the best possible life.
Also this chapter pretty much covers why marriage equality is important. Sunwoo's parents call themselves traditional but really what they want is for their child to have equal marital rights, and recognising that will probably be a long way from happening in their own country, want to encourage him to move to a place with his partner where he will get those rights. That's beautiful man, they are so good.
Max: babe would you love me even if I was a worm.
Eden, completely deadpan: without a doubt, yes
Dude obsessively took advantage of yeonoh when he had him under his thumb ugh and this seok-young could go fuck himself. The dude wanted to not only destroy yeonoh but drugged him so he could be assaulted (+wanted to assault him) and now that there's proof he wanted yeonoh to fix it through jaehyuk?? Fucking piece of shit.
The Nile is a river in Egypt my guy <3 hope that helps
Not then working out a plan so nomiya and mikoshiba can have a date lmao love it. This is friendship.
The fact that i can't tell a single thing about their personalities except tropey bullshit and knowing that this is structured like a badly written smut m/f story takes any appeal out of this work.
FUCK HES SO STUPID AND FUNNY the way he misunderstood everything LMAO. What I like about the resolution of misunderstandings in this manhwa unlike others, here the person who misunderstood realised his misunderstandings were all his fault and the whole thing was hilarious, if a bit mortifying. Its truly the best way to resolve such things, given the misunderstandings were hilarious and a bit coo coo in the first place lmao
Second read through. Love how daiki is the heart of the club and this story, and how he ends up with someone who loves and respects him as an equal partner. Genuinely think every hardworking person deserves an Ayden to be their home to come back to. The open affection, acceptance and love they have is soooo (-----___-----)
