In a time where one had no alternative due to regressive medicine (the world feels very much set in a parallel dark ages period), there is unfortunately nothing wrong (in a machiavellian sense) in his choices. Regardless, he will now, ever since childhood, carry blood on his hands, and will do so unrepentantly.

Arguably they could split, find healing and love seperately with others but I feel like ATP they're so warped beyond the point of no return that no one else can mean a measure of what they are to each other over the course of their lives.
