What I meant to say is, I was also disgusted by the summary. But then I looked at the comments (if the content matches the kind of summaries in such mangas there are usually lengthy hate comments which I find fun to read).
Every single comment I had read back then was about how beautiful and thoughtful this manga was. It made me curious. I am so glad to have read this.
Let this be your sign. Disregard the summary. Give this a go. It was a 5/5 for me. Let yourself read something that is good, even if you do not end up liking this as much as I do. TBH that summary is almost character assassination for this manga.
But when it comes down to it the good thing about this manhwa is how totally both of them are into each other on every level constantly. It gets to a point where the attractiveness of the individual character doesn’t matter; their dynamic with their partner makes them feel more attractive.
Also if someone doesn’t find jake’s character design hot that’s perfectly fair but his early on mysterious/dominant personality later translating into hyper competence and yearning and then protectiveness and devotion makes for a cocktail of characteristics that readers would find attractive (even if his character design all by itself isn’t).
Guys I get the characters are shitty and toxic and that’s what makes their dynamic fun but being put off after seeing someone getting rawdogged while they actively fight against it and then throw up (while the other character continues to force them) no matter how much anyone mentally prepares is pretty normal…. It’s fun and games to think this is where it would lead and still be a icked by it.

I may have forgotten if there were other ways but primarily method of magic replenishment is like… sexual contact. It felt icky to think that had it not been for umehiko, Theo would’ve 100% marked and assaulted momo who’s a school student. Most of the earlier stuff with Theo and umehiko is assault too. I know this becomes a major contention in the series but it still feels so sad overall for the blessed maidens.
