This disease of forgetting someone you love reminds me of that old japanese anime my old siblings used to watch during the pandemic lockdown. I forgot the title. It's a historical fantasy wuxia romance where the older FL is unable to remember her lover/apprentice after ingesting something (a poison, ig).
