What's the meaning behind the name, does anyone know

i'm not particularly sure about the hounds bit but i know sisyphus refers to the greek myth of sisyphus, who was doomed to push a rock up a hill but when it reached its peak it'd roll back down to the bottom, forever
the hounds could possibly just be there to be cool? or a nod towards cererbus, the guard dog of the underworld? given thats also greek mythology too

It might be something later down the line! (or the author just thought the title seemed cool LMAO) the only thing i cld really think that cld relate to it maybe is the idea of these characters going thru trial after trial and failing (akin to sisyphus) but with how new this series is, it can be hard to say !
How far in the novel do they bang coz them banging rn in the webt seems so unlikely
