Yes, there is romance, it's not one that straight to ur face cuz they start off as friends and til now their romance is one of the chillest I hv read, it's good

Leslie (FL) is abused by her own family, sacrificed to fire for her sister's sake. Leslie escaped the fire, and awakened the power that runs in the family (way stronger than her sister). She decided her family was shit and will continue to be shit, and therefore seeks to be adopted from the strongest Ducal household.

Ensues childcare fluff where she obtains all the love and affection she deserves. There are 2 older brothers, a strong dad and an even stronger mom all doting on this kid. All the staff love her. There is Konrad (ML) who is a temple knight and son of a duke. Started out as friends, growing love as they grow but it's very subtle and natural.

But yeah it can't all be fluff there is some drama. It revolves around her escaping the family when they realise she has strong powers, some royal family throne-grabbing, etc.
