she has character development way down the line dw you’ll prob get annoyed w her before then but she does grow, also the romance isn’t the main focus so it doesn’t take away from the story imo

There is obviously character development but since the author and story progresses from childhood all the way to adult, you can probably tell it's going to take a while...
How does she not have character development? Everyone deals with grief differently. Her mentor just died. Do you expect her to not cry and just accept it? Her character developed throughout this entire manga. She went from an overly exuberant child to a mature young woman, putting herself at risk to help keep her continent and her loved ones safe.
She gets worse for ages and then she gets better but it takes a while
Ahh I think I skipped that part I was at the part where MC is teaching her the ways but she never really does apply what he said then getting into trouble then inconveniencing the MC to save her I think it happened a few more times so I just skip shit and never knew her mentor died

I respect that. Though i just want to add that the harem aspect isn't real bad if you seen isekais. At least we have real cool male characters, like blacky and when it comes to it the action looks absolutely badass.
For me harem isn't having women fight along side the mc, but have only women fight along side mc and are actively having a crush on him. Then ofc the unnecessary "oops i fell on your bobas" or "lemme just get turned on by the bouncing boobies" or "lemme get nose bleed when i see the female anatomy" type of shit.
As of now its just fan service, and also the power scaling thats slowly getting ridiculous (still i dont mind, since its just my cup of tea). There is more plot than "plot" so im good. Bc ive seen stories where they have a premise to only evolve to 80% fan service and harem action. So maybe im dulled?
