Their relationship is so natural and comforting, the characters are also so well written you can feel their dynamics reslly close to irl people idk how to put it into words.. but they both seem human, more human and natural than most of the BLs out there.... this is officially one of my favorite yaois ever ; i hope ill be able to buy a paper copy cause i want to keep it on my shelf !!!!
whoever is talking about cultural appropriation or saying awful things really didn’t read the story at all....were y’all distracted or what..... the author made a perfect job, nothing racist or disrespectful to point out,,,, and DAMN THEY LOVE EACH OTHER, they love their souls, cultures, languages...everyone is respectful and curios about diversity how in the hell are you people making this look dirty and evil....i dont really get it
True! I don’t see anything disrespectful from it. They met halfway, Ryo didnt forced Qaltaga to stay in Japan, Qaltaga acnowledges the fact that they need to learn the outside world consensually. Yes it could be improved, BUT for a manga that consist of 2 vol only the author did a very good job of portraying it. The story and art is beautiful.
not to be that kind of person and i appreciate the author’s effort but.....this manhwa is getting overly overrated.
the overall plot idea was fun, it was something new in the yaoi scenario we were missing....but the way it was developed was just not it. NO character development AT ALL if not in the very last chapters were both abruptly changed behaviors and personality with no time or context , like the author wanted it to be over sooner than planned...... i dare to say MC was the only character i actually liked and enjoyed reading about
i tried giving this manhwa a chance and read it till the end but i just can’t bring myself to understand why people sleep on masterpieces and go drool over something so poorly written, but it’s just my opinion ofc
Well the truth is people not drool about its poorly written plot, they enjoy the smut. It getting very famous through good artstyle and hot scenes. For a lot of people reading bl is like entertaining so they don't really mind about cliche plot. But this sure is not something I will reread from the start to the end again, maybe will reread some chapters when they start actually dating

it’s kinda cute how the author (intentionally???) made kokoro resemble a bit feliciano vargas of hetalia, from the curly hair that pops up once in a while to the tomato thing.........anyways since i’m italian myself i wanted to point something out: in the last notest the author wrote kokoro’s italian name like Crystal D, but it’s not an italian name :// so i was wondering if maybe it was mistranslated ,,
back to the topic...... i loved how simple and fresh the whole story was
simply one of my fav authors with harada and nakamura!! the plot twists are unreal and the art is immaculate... i’m so glad i found this author!!
even though i was clueless about the very accurate suicide/self harm theme (i wont lie it kinda triggered me in the beginning but my bad for not reading through the tags) i am really really loving this series !! i love all the characters and how the author put lots of introspection work to make you feel like you’re part of the story!! the style is absolutely unique and very cute (just like hooni) ,, and the author deserves a HUG!!! (and a burger)

It’s so fresh and cute; definetly something to read to just relax I also very much appreciate the variety of topics the author decided to portrait; so much culture and range, definetly not a mainstream work,!! this manga’s went downhill the moment they started a relationship, i think the author should have kept the prisoner/guard dynamics for a bit more instead of suddenly making him leave prison…. also the last chapter and the way namikawa forced haga to get pregnant yeah idc he apologized and shit it doesn’t sit right with me the way yaoi in general belittles rape victims . fiction is fiction but that doesn’t mean it can’t bother people
Omg thank youuu. You are speaking facts! In general I feel like yaoi is not for everyone and that not everyone should be reading it. The amount of people I've been fighting with recently because they defend rape and think its hot to be forced is concerning. A lot of people on mangago who just read yaoi are so messed in the head like it just hurts my head to read their disgusting comments. I really like what you said in that last line like that's completely facts. It's getting scary lol sorry for the long paragraph

if the author decided to make this like a rlly good nice plot type of story
it’d would have maybe 3 volumes :3 1) prison dynamic with some conflict maybe, to be continued in vol 2// 2) finally out of prison, conflict resolved, finally getting together// 3) life after prison and babies.
just my idea if I’d have my own version of this story.
