Well, wholesome looks don't necessarily mean pure of heart, but one thing is for sure he is out and not afraid to talk about it, and that could be very appealing to YW because he is struggling with that. I think there will be a tug of war with that eventually where TW will tell him you and I share that and no one else as if their secret bonds them.

The first one the author wrote was so good, and then, slowly but surely it was ruined because of the obsession with a stupid triangle that was not properly constructed. I fear we might go that route again, but I am hoping it fixes itself. Actually, TW does remind me of Yahwi in a lot of ways, and this relationship is somewhat similar, but TW is not as rigid at least not so far.

Yes, and YW needs that. He won't be a good partner to anyone if he's so insecure. He has to learn to like himself and accept himself fully. I really want that for him. I think he was feeling a lot better last semester with that.

Yeah, nothing mutual unfortunately just yet. It seems manwhas are pushing this nowadays with the kissing either being there right away, being held back for a long time or the worst one back and forth with the kissing/no kissing. So far I think the holding back one is where we are with this one. The thing people compare this to BJ Alex, but the FIRST thing they did was kissing, so yeah, no, this is more like Yours to Claim.

It is possible, but I doubt it. I mean that's pretty intimate more intimate than anything else, so I think he'll start on his neck and hand kind of thing since he's already started on his chest. He already is touching him more, facing him, dirty talk, so I think he likes to push the envelope to see what YW desires, but I don't know where that line is drawn.

He definitely doesn't seem as selfish as one would think in bed considering the circumstances, and he really likes to see YW react to whatever he does to him. I will say the author surprised us with this chapter, so you never know what could be tossed in after this! He might kiss him out of frustration and say we're even for kissing without permission too and downplay it or put it on the table but make sure to say it's just kissing without feelings because god forbid he admit to that! lol

He might give him hickeys to mark his territory! lol The thing is TW is very risky with his behavior at times, so I could see him marking him and forcing YW to lie about it.

I think their first kiss will have to be him feeling frustrated because Alex won't back off because I don't see Alex giving up just because TW is in the game. Also, I think that YW misses having friends because he is cut off from everyone because of this relationship, so he may gravitate towards Alex because of it.

I mean last semester he was surrounded by friends, and now he can't even get in a group project w/out TW's help. Of course, he has Esther though, but again, she is connected to Alex, so that will make that friendship more desirable and an obstacle for TW IMHO.

Great insights and I totally agree with you and your predictions. I can see TW giving YW hickeys and teasing him a lot. The kiss out of frustration and downplaying it also sounds like a very probably option for his character.

I wonder if I missed something, is there a reason why YW is deserted now and doesn't have friends? Were they his senior who graduated? Or something happened that caused them to abandon him?

he hasnt been abandoned or anything. its just as he said in the chpt (which tbf is in korean lol) that being a foreign exchange student he's kind of last to be picked and he had an easier time last year cause taehee was also in his class(es) and would always match up with him. (since taehee himself was kind of a loner...on purpose lol). its just that yeonwoo can be awkward and not the most outgoing person and most others wont go out of their way to approach him first. so he's not like being intentionally singled out or anything. just bad luck mostly. (taehwan and dojin didnt have this issue cause they are outgoing and get along with people easily and ofc we saw last year dojin and taehee had quite a few other korean students to chill with.)

Also, there's a tweet out there liked by the author about YW being in a triangle, so make of that what you will. I think the author is happy with the response with these last two chapters which is refreshing to see that people are being heard now versus way down the line or just ignored.

Well, it's also thanks to the help of my fave Korean translators who gave me insight, but I can see with my own eyes just looking at the chapters how their relationship is slowly evolving. I am shocked some people aren't picking up on it, but I think it will become more clear as we get those English translations. TY for the compliment. :)

Here is my guess is that he will be more cautious with TW regarding anything that resembles affection or friendship because that's why he landed in hot water in the first place (looks like he's about to flip out when TW starts having sex face to face), and he'll be more apt to want to spend time with Alex because he can be open and honest and not feel like he's scared to say or do the wrong thing. I think that's where the conflict is gonna get messy. It will be interesting to see where Esther lies in all of this because she already told Alex not to get involved, and she is NOT a fan of TW.

I don't know why, but I have Alex is a loud and proud kind of guy, so that could be an issue that TW could use to his advantage against him as in are you really ready to be out like that to YW. I think that could scare someone like YW as well, and Alex will be conflicted because he's done with hiding his sexuality, so you'll have that dynamic going on as well.

That's why this is good because IMHO it will be TW trying to push for more rather than the desperate uke who looks pathetic. I mean we've had enough of that scenario. We can see TW slowly breaking his own rules anyways which again love it, but I think the one who will try to keep it just sex will be YW because he doesn't have the confidence to go down that road again just yet. Still, he can't resist their sexual relationship, and he won't let go of it IMHO.

I also think TW may draw back in YW because of his past trauma as well because YW will be the one he goes to for it and to help himself come to terms with it. He's already seeking him out after he has conflicts first it was with Dojin (talked to him first in the bar) and then after he met Michael again as well, and clearly, we saw in the past he was someone he felt a comforting vibe with as well. I wish back then he had a friend like me because I would've said, please, wait a little longer, and he's gonna come to you, but alas, he jumped the gun and scared off TW.

I really don't know how far YW will take it with Alex, but he seems like a one man kind of guy, very dedicated to what his heart tells him, so if Alex can sneak in there, well, then we have an actual triangle not just Alex being the guy running after YW. Still, that first love is very strong with this one. TW created a special bond with him that has lasted in his memory.

I knew the author would start to make this more complicated and interesting because of the first couple. I know there was a lot of sex (A LOT), but there was a great background story as well. Towards the end, they were so sweet together especially during the visit to the parents. Taehee has a lot of facets to his personality, so hopefully, we'll get to see different sides to TW as well.

I just write what I feel based upon what I see and am told which again shout out to you guys translating the dialogue because it goes a long way to my understanding of the situation. I could be completely wrong or somewhat right, but I guessed quite a bit of the first couple, so we'll see if I am even close this time. lol I like that the author is throwing in these curve balls to spice it up and not make it roll on forever with the same tired seme is mean and uke is just taking it scenario.

i love your take. i wanted to say so sooner but my brain has been too scrambled lately anyway. i kind of suspect and hope (much like you) that the one who is reluctant to push the relationship further will be Yeonwoo not Taehwan (not that Taehwan wont be relcutant but rather that i can see him naturaly becoming more attached and affectionate over time and even weaponizing Yeonwoo's attraction to him to keep other guys away from Yeonwoo without necessarily putting a name to things until he's confronted about it but i do think he needs Yeonwoo alot more than either of them know). cause its more interesting to explore Yeonwoo being torn between a guy he's very hot for and was most likely yeonwoo's first love/crush vs a guy who is clearly more emotionally available and also not torn or unsure about his sexuality at all. (ofc this could also make yeonwoo feel nervous but imo yeonwoo hides his sexuality just cause its easier for him and he's not an outgoing person. and not cause he's ashamed of it or terrified of being found out or he wouldnt be hooking up with dudes off dating apps lol or admititng his interest to Alex a guy he never met before. there's just so many reasons to be private about ur sexuality that isnt OH NOES I CANT BE GAAAYY GROSS like some people in these comments seem to think. smh) anyway, if Yeonwoo favors Taehwan the whole time without faltering i suspect it wont be because of Alex's being Too Out or Too Openly Gay for yeonwoo to bear. that said i hope yeonwoo does falter. cause he clealry would enjoy a relationship even if he's not too broken up about not having one. (he just horny af lol and who can blame him!) but Alex would be a caring partner and there's no ugly history for Yeonwoo to stress about. I think it'll be easy for Yeonwoo to keep things casual between them and just have fun if he can convince himself Taehwan doesnt rly feel anything for him beyond finding Yeonwoo surprisingly fuckable (and seemingly up for Anything too). but if that turns out to change will Yeonwoo be thrilled or nervous that it could go horribly wrong again and his heart will break even more than the first time? (likewise Taehwan has massive trust issues in general and he may not be able fully vulnerable and honest with yeonwoo until he's either forced into a corner or just is triggered so hard by something that he legit has a breakdown in front of yeonwoo....p much making it impossible to hide it anymore. i would prefer the latter rather than taehwan forcing himself to confess his dark history to yeonwoo to keep yeonwoo from like running into alex's waiting arms or smth lol.) but yeah there's so many interesting nuances that can be explored here and i hope Dolsha does so. she seems more interested in writing characters than writing cliches.
