Idk if this is unpopular or not and I might get hate for this but this author seems to have a hard time with plots, or at least executing them smoothly. I adore their art and all but the writing seems jumbled and the plot feels a bit messy. I just remember in A Guy Like You it started out ok but then went to "wtf is going on" once the antagonist was introduced, it was truly confusing. I had a bit more hope for this one but then the whole "I remember you from when we were kids but you don't" thing came up again and I'm just unsure now.

Same. I dropped it because it went downhill when the villain showed up. Also the uke gets on my nerves. Everything is a mess. I don't like it so I deleted it from my reading list. It's only interesting at first.

I was squealing this whole chapter holy fuck they're so cute ahhhhhhhhh.
I've read a lot of yaoi (seriously a lot) and this has got to be one of my favorites. The writing is amazing, the art is gorgeous, and is one of the very few stories I have read that have brought out such genuine emotions in me. I can't even describe how much I love this story.
