
Idk if this is unpopular or not and I might get hate for this but this author seems to have a hard time with plots, or at least executing them smoothly. I adore their art and all but the writing seems jumbled and the plot feels a bit messy. I just remember in A Guy Like You it started out ok but then went to "wtf is going on" once the antagonist was introduced, it was truly confusing. I had a bit more hope for this one but then the whole "I remember you from when we were kids but you don't" thing came up again and I'm just unsure now.

So I've probably read this story a good hundred times over a year or so because I love it so much but I will never ever get over when Theo said
"Even if you were a girl, or if there was a large age gap between us, even if we'd been born in places very far apart....I know I would have met you somewhere, and then you would have taught me about this world, and there's no way I wouldn't have come to love you."
Like damn, I felt that in my soul. Never had a yaoi hit me with a quote like that.
