I think I will be giving up on this one as I feel like the mc is too cowardly. Like I get that she was scared of the Duke in the beginning but she knows why the Duke adores her so she could have used the information to solve the root problem but it ended up festering until the problem can no longer be fixed. I personally hate when the male lead is too possessive but this part could have been avoided if she had tried to solve "her favorite character's" root problem. So yeah it was painful to read but who knows I might pick this up one day.
