Generally most of the Yaoi mangakas are women which is a fact I feel proud of. But not knowing Yaoi legend Harada if she or he is what gender don't know why troubles me. I think what she means that since yaoi is gay smut written for women, it's natural to assume that the mangakas are women?
I think the ratio is similar to shoujo/josei... it's easy to assume that they are women creators since male shoujo creators are rare and almost non-existent
I'm certain that Old Xian is female because when in 2016 it was announced that 19 days will be addapted as a drama she was present in some concert or something in person. In fact, she is actually a very pretty lady who only draws herself as a man in Mosspaca and in weibo, her gender is male. Still there is confusion about such a legendary writer as Harada is quite a shock. I wish she appears in some renouned BL festival or something where she clears the misconceptions about her.
And about male writers of yaoi I'm pretty sure the bara genre writers are all males who writes for gay public. You can find plenty of them in myreadingmanga. And as for our normal Yaoi, maybe Taratsumi Jhon is a male writer. I'm not sure though.

bara =/= yaoi. yaoi is under the "boy's love" category that is gay manga catered for women.

Honestly it's nice to think of fudanshis who don't act as gayphobic (not even homophobic)... Are you planning to upload a manga here from a group who is scanlating it? Usually they will upload it themselves but for various reasons there are groups that won't allow some series to get uploaded on sites like mangago. Usually because they can get in trouble but check with scanlators first.

I have a request to my fellow fujoshis who haven't read "In these Words" yet....I am actually planning to buy a chapter of that series but since I'm broke I'm unable to buy any more than that. I really do want to read this manga so bad but I can't ask for money from my parents when I can't even tell them what I'm using the money for and I don't get any pocket money that I'd save up(they don't know about my this hobby). If there is anyone out there who shares similar circumstances I would really like to request them if all of us can buy a chapter and share it with each other. I know it's too much to ask and also will be reaping the author but if by this we can help each other to read such an amazing work that we couldn't get our hands on because we can't afford it, I hope we'll really be glad. And I promise if I ever have the chance I'll buy the full series but I want to read it at least for once before I get forced out of my Yaoi world since I don't know how long I can continue doing it with people around me completely ignorant of such world even exists. Someone left a spoiler on the topic board of the manga so I thought it was already released and I went on asking a scanlator group to pick up the manga if possible. They informed me it was already translated but didn't say anymore than that. So I thought of asking if anyone knew where we can find the rest of the manga in pdf form. I would like to buy it from volume 2 since I'm actually broke(yet going on about buying).

Can someone help me find this manga where the seme(probably since it's shounen ai) a Japanese man goes to a different country to soothe his broken heart and due to language trouble faces problem. Is given a room in too bad condition so he moves out and finds a cafe where the owner knows his native language, is a mixed blood. The man's starts living with him and help him in his shop in return for him to stay in there. Soon he starts to forget the pain of his broken heart and starts falling in love with the coffee shop owner. After some time when he decides to tell him about his feelings he finds that the owner is already in relationship with another man who helps him providing the shop. Once again broken hearted when he decides to return to his country he finds out that the shop owner was going to close his shop. Knowing that there will be no way to contact him again he tells him during the time they spent together he fell in love with him and the owner repeats it was the same for him too. So the next time he decides to visit that country he will find him to own his own shop and that time he would like him to stay for longer to help him.
It's such a nice story and the art is good too. It's a chapter of a multiple story manga. Please help me find this one. TQ.
