Maybe it's because the anime cut some of her sub scenes to replace it with a different timline(past and present)? ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
The manga decided to go on a linear timeline, which is MC pov from birth, probably because easier for readers to read it.
The anime mixes 2 timelines:
1. Present timeline (where everyone grew up to teen ages, the guy's POV)
2. Past timeline (where everyone was just born, MC's POV)
It's similar to the novel.
So the manga is simultaneously way forward and way behind the anime.
